Who We Are
Family-owned and operated, Discount Rent a Car has always been local to Salt Lake City. When we started in 1992, our first rental fleet had just 10 cars. The next year, our stock of cars doubled, and we just kept growing.
Personal & Flexible Services
We now specialize in renting cars to customers who don’t rent from major rental companies, and we tailor our service to each individual person. We don’t do credit checks, and we accept alternate payment methods (like debit cards, cash, and Venmo). Underaged drivers aged 18-24 are welcome.
As our business has grown, what is important to us has stayed the same. We love talking to people and giving each customer personal attention. When you get in touch with Discount Rent a Car, you get to talk to us and not a recording.
